Garden Leaders Annual Meeting

Peterson Garden Project is a community-based volunteer effort. To make it work on a large scale, many teams of people lend their talents and passions to various projects throughout the year.
Each Pop-Up Victory Garden has a team of three to five volunteer block captains that help manage their garden with the support of the Peterson Garden Project staff. Block captain teams also support garden-related projects including work days, socials, and more.
Are you considering becoming a block captain for 2019? We’re getting together for our annual meeting to go over what it means to be a PGP block captain. We’ll go over information for the first work day of the year (4/13), garden opening (4/20), schedule garden socials, and plan for the Grow2Give season.
We will be meeting in the Community Cooking School on the 2nd floor, and will provide something to eat (probably pizza and salad) and non-alcoholic drinks. Feel free to bring anything else to share!
